How to handle Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup injury in Week 4 fantasy football

Cooper is in, and Gallup is out this week. Here’s how to handle the Cowboys receiver situation.

Both Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup are dealing with injuries right now. However, things are a little worse for Gallup, who will miss his second game in a row with a knee injury. Cooper had an MRI on his ankle this week, but he will be good to go when the Dallas Cowboys take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football this week.

Cooper has been a bona fide fantasy stud this season. He scored twice and added 88 yards last week against the Dolphins. He’s already got four touchdowns this season to go along with 238 receiving yards.

Gallup got off to a nice start to the season before hurting his knee after Week 2. He had 158 yards in the season opener, and added another 68 a week later. He had minor surgery on his knee, and is expected to miss at least a couple more weeks after this one.

Fantasy impact: When Gallup does return, he’ll demand some attention in this new-look high-flying Cowboys offense. But you’ve got a couple weeks at least before that. Cooper is a must-start this week and every week, as long as he’s healthy. You can expect him to put up nice numbers against the Saints this week.
