What to do with Tarik Cohen in Week 4 fantasy football

Tarik Cohen is stuck in a huge RBBC, but is still a threat in the open field. We look at whether you should play or bench the RB in Week 4 vs. the Vikings.

Tarik Cohen has scored less than five fantasy points in consecutive games, and will really need to be used as a receiver to make an impact. He’s been targeted 19 times so far this season, but 10 of those targets came in Week 1 against the Packers. He did see an uptick in rushing attempts, but it’s unlikely the scatback will be able to make an impact without a red-zone rush. With David Montgomery, Mike Davis and Cordarrelle Patterson all being used in the backfield, it’s tough to find a way for Cohen to make an impact.

Fantasy Impact: Tarik Cohen has proven in the past to be an explosive playmaker, but the RBBC has really impacted his production. With Taylor Gabriel out due to a concussion, I could see Cohen being used as a slot receiver. Still, this week’s matchup with the Vikings is not easy and has one of the lowest projected totals on the slate. He deserves some flex consideration in season-long formats, but he is complete fade in DFS with his salary at $4,600.
