Point spread, total, moneyline and more for Seahawks-Cardinals in Week 4

NFC West matchups can get a little crazy at times, so don’t be surprised if Seahawks-Cardinals gets a little wacky. We break down the pertinent odds, including the point spread, notable prop bets, and betting history.

Seattle is one of three teams to have a winning record but a negative point differential. They have played average defense, ranking 17th in Football Outsiders’ DAVE metric. Offensively, they still seem to prefer to run the ball, but cut Russell Wilson loose last week after Chris Carson showed he couldn’t hold onto the football and the Seahawks fell behind. The results were, predictably, outstanding. Thought it wasn’t enough to come back and win the game, Wilson threw for 406 yards and two touchdowns (and ran for another two), and Seattle scored 20 points in the fourth quarter. It remains to be seen if this will lead to a change in offensive approach, but a more Wilson-heavy attack would certainly make the Seahawks more dynamic and dangerous.

The Cardinals feel extremely close to a breakthrough, but simply cannot get over the hump to do so. Last week, they competed for three quarters with the Panthers before being shut out in the fourth. This was the first time the Cardinals failed to score a fourth quarter point all season. One area Arizona should expect some improvement is in the touchdown production of Kyler Murray. He has just a 2.9 percent touchdown rate, throwing for scores just four times on 137 attempts. Some regression there would bode well for this team as a whole.
