Top DFS wide receiver players for Week 4

In NFL DFS, we are always looking for the player who will triple or quadruple their salaries. For example, a player worth $6,000 who scores 24 points has quadrupled, or 4Xed, their salary. Those are the guys we want throughout the lineup. Here are our best wide receiver plays for Week 4:

Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers at Miami Dolphins, $7,600

Allen might never find himself in a better spot, which is saying something after his monster performance last week. The Chargers’ offense is banged up at wide receiver, tight end and running back, meaning the overwhelming majority of the production is going to flow between Allen and Austin Ekeler. Most teams would be able to lock in on the two obvious targets, but this is Miami, and they only thing they’re targeting is the No. 1 pick in the 2020 Draft. All Allen, all day.

Sammy Watkins, Kansas City Chiefs at Detroit Lions, $6,700

No. 1 receivers against the Lions defense, you ask? Larry Fitzgerald 8-113-1; Allen 8-98; Nelson Agholor (!) 8-50-2. All of the Kansas City receivers are great plays this week, but Watkins in the No. 1 slot should be the biggest benefactor of the Lions’ matador defense.

Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals, $6,300

One of the more intriguing developments this week is the lack of salary movement for Lockett, who only bumped $100 after erupting on the Saints last week with an 11-154-1 line. Sure, some of that production was in garbage time, but it still counts, and Lockett has now been targeted 26 times in the past two games. This is not the shutdown Cardinals defense of a couple years ago. They’ve allowed over 250 passing yards in each game this season. Lockett is way underpriced this week.

Sterling Shepard, New York Giants at Washington, $5,800

Speaking of underpriced. Shepard looked good as new last week against the Buccaneers, catching 7 of 9 targets for 100 yards and a score. He also had a couple of nice runs from scrimmage. The Daniel Jones Era is operating on the smallest of sample sizes, but it was quite a sample last week and Washington just got destroyed by Taylor Gabriel. Fire up Shepard with confidence.
