Top DFS QB plays for Week 4

A good quarterback can take your DFS lineup to the next level. Here are three signal callers who belong in all your lineups this weekend.

Picking the right quarterback for your daily fantasy lineup can often be the difference between building a winning lineup and one that crashes and burns. While they’re not often the most expensive position, they can put forward the most points and a good quarterback can take your lineup from average to infinity and beyond.

When crafting your teams this weekend, here are the top three quarterbacks you should be buying. These guys are either going to live up to their price tag or will wildly outplay their salary.

Draft carefully. (Salary via DraftKings)

Dak Prescott (@ Saints) - $6,300

We know by now that Prescott is the real deal this season and while some may be waiting for the pumpkin game, that game isn’t coming this weekend. The Saints rank dead last in fantasy points surrendered to opposing quarterbacks. The best part: Prescott isn’t the most expensive QB. As the sixth most expensive signal caller, I’m buying Prescott everywhere and not asking questions.

Philip Rivers (@ Dolphins) - $6,200

You can’t write a “best plays in DFS” without mentioning whichever team is playing the Dolphins this week. Rivers comes in as the seventh most expensive QB and while he hasn’t had any truly stunning performances yet this season, don’t be surprised if this weekend turns out to be his best of the season. The Dolphins are narrowly behind the Saints in terms of points surrendered to quarterbacks and you can bet the Chargers offense has the fire power to run up the score against this hapless group.

Daniel Jones (vs Washington) - $5,300

If you’re looking for a cheap QB option this week, why not buy into the Danny Dimes hype? He looked great last week and added some much needed juice to an offense that would have been completely lost had Saquon Barkley’s injury occurred with Eli Manning still under center. The ball is going to be in Jones’ hands early and often in this game and Washington’s pass defense has been far from great this year. I’ve got a couple of lineups with Danny Dimes in them so I’ll be along for the ride with you!
