Top DFS tight end plays for Week 4

The NFC South has two tight ends worth starting in daily fantasy leagues in Week 4.

The Sunday kickoffs for Week 4 are almost here, and it’s time to start plotting out your Week 4 DFS lineups. The tight end position continues to be hit-and-miss in 2019 with lesser name and stars all having roller coaster-type games through the seasons’ first three weeks. But have no fear! We’re here to give you ideas for the tight ends to plug into your daily lineups this week.

Obviously, you would love to fill your daily lineup with Pro-Bowlers from top to bottom, but spending money on a top-tier player in one spot leaves you potentially scraping the barrel to fill out the rest of your roster.

So here are three running backs that could provide the best value for Week 3. (Values from Draft Kings.)

Austin Hooper (ATL) - $4,300

At $2,900 cheaper than the most expensive tight end in daily fantasy this week, Hooper is solid value as he continues to look like one of Matt Ryan’s preferred receiving targets. Hooper is coming off a season-high in receiving yards in Week 3, but hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 1. Look for Hooper to find the end zone in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans.

Eric Ebron (IND) - $4,000

Keep a close eye on T.Y. Hilton’s status moving forward, as he was forced to come out of the game last week for the Indianapolis Colts. If Hilton is unable to suit up in Week 4, or even if he’s just not a full strength, the 6’4 245 lbs. Ebron could be Jacoby Brissett’s target in the passing game. A favorable matchup against the Oakland Raiders doesn’t hurt.

Greg Olsen (TEN) - $4,200

With Cam Newton set to miss at least another with for the Carolina Panthers, it will be Kyle Allen under center this week against the Houston Texans. Olsen seems to have excellent chemistry with the rookie QB, catching 6 of 7 targets for 75 yards and two scores last week, so buy Olsen at his modest price tag before his price catches up with his expected usage under Allen.
