Start or sit Lamar Jackson in Week 3?

The Ravens QB is on fire, but now he faces a non-scrub team for the first time this season.

Let me make this simple in case you’re just here for a quick look. Should you start Lamar Jackson this week? Yes. Absolutely. Do it with confidence.

It might seem like a silly question given the Baltimore Ravens quarterback has produced back-to-back weeks of 30 or more points. But those games came against the pitiful Dolphins and woebegone Cardinals. Playing the Kansas City Chiefs is an entirely different matter.

But it’s still nothing that should keep you from starting Jackson.

He threw five touchdowns in Week 1, and added another two last week. He still hasn’t found the end zone as a rusher, but he did manage to run for 120 yards in Week 2 after compiling just 6 the week before. Jackson was pretty clear to start the season that he wouldn’t be running as much in his second year, despite the punditry heaping all kinds of doubt onto his ability as a passer. Turns out, he’s pretty good at that too!

Jackson is a top three quarterback in fantasy so far this season.

Fantasy impact: The Chiefs defense isn’t exactly the ’85 Bears or even the ’00 Ravens — they can’t stop you from scoring. That ups the likelihood of an old fashioned offensive shootout, not to mention Jackson playing all four quarters because they haven’t put away a terrible opponent early.

Recommendation: START HIM!!
