The Atlanta Falcons have lost wide receiver Calvin Ridley for the season due to an ab injury. He suffered the injury on Sunday and posted to Instagram on Monday saying he was done for the season.

Thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes. I am doing well, unfortunately I’m out for the rest of the season, but I’ll be back Next year st8 pressure ❤️ Small thing to a Giant! #RiseUp #oneofthebest

Prior to the injury, Ridley had five receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown. For the season, he had 63 receptions for 866 yards and seven touchdowns.

Russell Gage, Christian Blake, and Olamide Zaccheaus are among the receivers who will be tasked to step up opposite Julio Jones following this news. None of them has fantasy football value for the time being, but are worth tracking as you begin preparations for 2020 fantasy football drafts.

UPDATE: The Falcons posted an article on their official team site referencing Ridley’s Instagram post, but not confirming it. They likely will formally confirm it and move him to injured reserve this week.
