Giants-Eagles game offers playoff implications on MNF

The Eagles are luckily in the worst division in the NFL, but need to win to stay on pace with the Cowboys for a shot at the NFC East crown

The NFC East’s nickname, the NFC Least is living up to its billing right now, as the Dallas Cowboys sit in first place with a 6-7 record. There have been two teams in the history of the NFL win their division with a losing record. We’ve got a good chance of seeing that again! Wooo!

Dallas already lost, so the Eagles need a win to stay tied in their records but would still lose the tiebreaker at the moment due to the Cowboys beating them in Dallas earlier in the season. Of course, they get another matchup in Philadelphia and with both of these teams playing so poorly, it really could be anybody’s game.

Eagles schedule: vs. Giants (2-10), at Washington (3-9), vs. Cowboys (6-7), at Giants

Cowboys schedule: vs. Rams (7-5), at Eagles (5-7), vs. Washington (3-9)

The Eagles have an easier schedule but the matchup with Dallas holds so much weight, that it will likely be the deciding factor as to who wins the division. But they do need to take care of business against bad Giants and Washington teams to stay relevant.
