Best lineup strategy for Week 14 DFS can include DeVante Parker, Falcons D/ST, Matt Breida

We’ve got some value options at wide receiver, running back and team defense to consider for Week 14 DFS.

We are back to a full dance card in Week 14. With 13 games on the featured Sunday contest you’ll have a lot of options to sort through. Thankfully, there are a few games and match-ups that stick out as great ways to build a lineup. Salaries via DraftKings.

Pay Up For Defense?

$4,000. It will cost you $4,000 to roster the Green Bay Defense this week. There’s nothing particularly special about Green Bay’s defense. They are actually ranked in the bottom third in team defense in the real life game, but they did show up on the road against The New York Giants last week. They face Washington this week and the Packers should be able to rattle Dwayne Haskins into a few sacks and turnovers. If you need a cheaper option, The Atlanta Falcons ($3,000) have come back down to earth after a few weeks of usability. However, the Falcons D/ST put up 26 points against the Carolina Panthers a few weeks ago. History isn’t always the best forecaster of future performance but perhaps they give Kyle Allen another rough evening on Sunday.

The Magic of DeVante

There might not be a receiver in the league on a hotter streak than DeVante Parker ($6,900) and DraftKings has raised his price steadily. Parker is going to be a popular play and you can also imagine the Ryan Fitzpatrick ($6,000) Parker stack being almost as popular. If that is too rich for your blood how about we dip into some of that sweet Duck action. Devlin “Duck” Hodges ($5,900) and James Washington ($6,900) have got something going. The Arizona Cardinal defense has given up the 4th most points to wide receivers this season. Both stacks are risky, but we’ve also seen each payoff in recent weeks.

The Running Back Value Menu

The only elite running backs unavailable on Sunday’s featured contest are Ezekiel Elliot and Saquon Barkley. There are plenty of ways to attack the position this week, but if you find yourself looking for rushers under $5,000 there are a few players who immediately stick out. Alexander Mattison ($4,500) leads the way if Dalvin Cook misses the game due to injury. The match-up against the Detroit Lions is so nice that you could FLEX Mattison even if Cook is active. Matt Breida ($4,600) is coming back from injury, but I imagine he will be involved in San Francisco’s rushing attack and he could see more work in the passing game if New Orleans’ secondary shuts down Emmanuel Sanders and Deebo Samuel.
