The San Francisco 49ers have listed wide receiver Marquise Goodwin as questionable for this week’s headliner against the New Orleans Saints. Goodwin is dealing with a knee injury heading into this Week 14 game.
The main thing to know here is that whether or not Goodwin plays does not matter all that much for fantasy purposes. He is the team’s fourth receiver, and does not typically see a lot of targets with the rest of the receiving corps healthy. Goodwin played last week, but he was a healthy scratch the week before that.
Fantasy football analysis, San Francisco 49ers WR Marquise Goodwin
There is a chance that Goodwin will not play this week, but, again, that should not be of particular concern for your fantasy planning purposes. The two receivers here who should be on your radar are Deebo Samuel and Emmanuel Sanders. Of those two, Samuel has an edge. He had two triple-digit yardage games last month, and has scored twice in his last two.
