UPDATE: Will Fuller is NOT expected to play, per Ian Rapoport.
Is there anything better than a fantasy football player capable of going off for 100 or more yards in any given week of the season being truly questionable for a game during the stretch run of the season? Houston Texans wide receiver Will Fuller’s status for this week’s game against the Denver Broncos is unknown. The team listed him as questionable this week, and it might come down to the wire as to whether or not he ends up playing.
The issue for Fuller is his hamstring, the same injury that had him on the shelf for most of last month. He was a limited participant in practice all week long. That might be a decent indicator that he will suit up for this game, but still might be better off giving Kenny Stills some consideration.
Fantasy football analysis, Houston Texans WR Will Fuller
Fuller had a huge game two weeks ago, with 140 yards against the Colts, but he was nearly invisible last week, reeling in one catch for just eight yards against the Patriots. Both DeAndre Hopkins and Kenny Stills had more targets than him in that game too.
Clearly, Hopkins is the No. 1 in that offense, and a must-start in fantasy leagues. Both Fuller and Still are boom or bust players. But if Fuller can’t play at all, Still would definitely be in line for more work, and potentially worth a spot in your lineup.
