Carson Wentz hasn’t had his full complement of receivers healthy this season, but did get Alshon Jeffery back last week. Jeffery’s return and a weak Dolphins pass defense helped Wentz to his best game of the season. For the most part, this has been a poor year for Wentz, as he only has five games with multiple touchdown passes and just the one since Week 6.
Fantasy football analysis: Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz
A matchup against the Giants coming off his big game against the Dolphins is a good spot to start a streak of above-average fantasy games, though. The Giants gave up four touchdown passes to Aaron Rodgers at home last week and have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks all season.
Only the Bengals and Dolphins have given up more fantasy points per passing attempt than the Giants, and the Eagles throw the ball the eighth-most at home and have thrown it the sixth-most over the last three games. Jordan Howard looks like he’ll remain out, which should push the more pass-friendly Miles Sanders into a bigger role again and Zach Ertz and Alshon Jeffery should be near 100 percent.
