Ryan Tannehill and the Tennessee Titans are fighting for the AFC South title after handing a devastating loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The season turned around completely as soon as Tannehill took over for Marcus Mariota. For three consecutive games, he’s thrown two touchdowns and zero interceptions. He’ll look to continue that run on Sunday in Oakland.

Fantasy Football Analysis: Tennessee Titans QB Ryan Tannehill

Tannehill is coming into Week 14 with six full games under his belt. He has won five of those. While his fantasy numbers aren’t astronomical, he’s averaging a solid 16.4 points per game in standard ESPN leagues. That’s good for 17th in the league.

He gets the late afternoon game on Sunday as the Titans try to keep the Raiders out of the wild card race. More importantly, Tennessee is trying to put the pressure on Houston. Ryan Tannehill will undoubtedly be fighting to secure a starting NFL job by leading his team to the playoffs. The Raiders have allowed the ninth-most passing yards per game. What’s better, they’re also allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

Unfortunately for Tannehill owners, Derrick Henry has been the focal point of the Titans offense. And when the ball goes through a running back, it typically slows the game down, taking away the opportunity for high-scoring fantasy performances for other players.
