Joe Burrow is going to win the Heisman Trophy, but why not put a cherry on top with a strong performance in the SEC title game? Burrow decided to increase the degree of difficulty by throwing a pass to himself!
OK, not quite. In the first quarter, he had a pass over the middle batted down by a defender, and it ended up right back in Burrow’s hands. He managed to scamper 16 yards with the deflection for the LSU first down. Sometimes, it’s just too easy.

In case you’re wondering, Burrow then followed that up with a 23-yard touchdown pass in which he had ALL DAY LONG. The Georgia pass rush was non-existent and eventually Burrow found Ja’Marr Chase in the end zone.
