Los Angeles Lakers guard Rajon Rondo left Friday’s game vs. the Portland Trail Blazers due to a hamstring injury and was unable to return.

The Lakers had been cruising to victory against the Blazers and are up by 20 points in the third quarter after Rondo had to exit. The injury may not be too serious, but we’ll see if Rondo will miss any additional time for L.A.
Fantasy Basketball Analysis: Los Angeles Lakers PG Rajon Rondo
If Rondo is to miss any time, we’d likely just see more of LeBron James at point guard. Off the bench, I’d expect guys like Danny Green and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to pick up additional minutes at guard and even handle the ball a little bit. Rondo was having himself a decent season off the bench for the Lakers, averaging 8.8 points and 6.1 assists in 12 games. We could also see more of Quinn Cook, who hasn’t really been in the rotation recently with Rondo and LeBron soaking up minutes at the point. He may become a trendy DFS value play the next time the Lakers suit up.
UPDATE: Rondo (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday’s matchup vs. the Timberwolves.
