Friday update: The Bears are still evaluating Javon Wims the day after the game.

End of game update: It does not appear Wims returned to the game. We’ll keep an eye out for more information on his knee injury in the next 24 hours.

UPDATE: The Bears have announced that Wims is questionable to return with a knee injury.

The Chicago Bears are shorthanded at wide receiver with Taylor Gabriel inactive, and they just lost another receiver. Javon Wims went up for a reception in the end zone and after coming down without the ball, he landed awkwardly on his leg. He was able to get up after a few moments and limped off the field. Riley Ridley replaced him.

The injury occurred on Wims’ third target of the game. He has yet to catch a pass. On the play after Wims limped off, Mitchell Trubisky connected with Allen Robinson for a second touchdown to give the Bears a 17-7 lead.
