We’re going to try and forget what happened on last night’s slate and focus on Tuesday night’s seven-gamer, because there’s no point dwelling on the past, amirite?
Maury Ballstein: What happens when we get knocked off the horse?
Derek Zoolander: ..........
Maury Ballstein: We get back ooonnn.
So with that in mind — and what should be a very exciting night of hoops — here are my spread picks on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Magic (+2) @ Wizards
Pistons (-3.5) @ Cavaliers
Raptors (-5) vs. Heat
Mavericks (-4) @ Pelicans
Rockets (-6.5) @ Spurs
Lakers (+3) @ Nuggets
Trail Blazers (+9.5) @ Clippers
Carmelo Anthony is back! This is like the 12,000th time I’ve typed that sentence in the past two weeks. While I’m sick of Melo Mania, I’m not sick of the Trail Blazers looking like a playoff team again. I think Damian Lillard shows up tonight and Portland covers. The Rockets, Mavericks and Pistons spreads all seem too short to pass up. The Cavs, Pelicans and Spurs are all bad teams who normally lose by double digits. Gimme LeBron James getting points against a team that can’t really score. Gimme Pascal Siakam and the Raptors at home. Spicy P is looking like a darkhorse MVP candidate.
