Daniel Jones ($6,400) has flashed brilliant upside in his rookie year with the Giants, but he has also had shaky moments, particularly with turnovers. Jones has extreme fumbling issues, fumbling the ball 16 times in just 11 starts, the most among all players. Jones’ upside was on display in Week 16 against the Redskins, where he threw five TD passes and finished with 38.3 DraftKings fantasy points (DKFP), the most among all QBs in Week 16. Jones has produced four games with more than 30 DKFP this season, but has also posted some clunkers, producing six games of less than 15 DKFP, which makes him a boom-or-bust fantasy option best suited for DraftKings tournaments.

Fantasy football analysis: New York Giants QB Daniel Jones

Jones draws a solid Week 17 matchup against the Eagles, who have a beatable secondary. The Eagles have below average to mediocre numbers against the pass, and the Giants’ poor defense may force Jones into expanded passing volume. The Giants rank fourth worst defensively by points allowed and ninth worst by yards allowed. Jones’ ability to rush the ball also boosts his floor and ceiling. Jones’ 23 rushing yards per game ranks sixth best among QBs. Jones carries upside in this matchup, but his turnover issues also make him somewhat risky, making him best served for play in DraftKings tournaments.
