UPDATE: Jabari Parker is not probable to return to the lineup Friday vs. the Celtics. So is Kevin Huerter.

UPDATE: Trae Young will return to the lineup Friday night against the Boston Celtics.
Trae Young will play against the Celtics tomorrow, per Lloyd Pierce. He has missed the last two games with a sprained right ankle.

Young had missed the past two games due to a sprained ankle. With Young back, it’s a fantasy value hit to John Collins, Cam Reddish and DeAndre Bembry in Atlanta’s lineup. It’s also a tougher assignment for the Celtics.
UPDATE: Young, along with Jabari Parker, are listed as out for Monday’s game vs. the Magic.
Hawks injury report for tonight:
— Sarah K. Spencer (@sarah_k_spence) December 30, 2019
Alex Len (left ankle sprain) is available.
Evan Turner (right hamstring strain) is available.
Jabari Parker (right shoulder impingement) is out.
Trae Young (right ankle sprain) is out.
This isn’t anything new but just further confirmation that Trae is out tonight. Parker also remains sidelined, while Alex Len and Evan Turner are available to play.
UPDATE: Young has already been ruled out for Monday’s game vs. the Orlando Magic.
Trae Young has been ruled out for tomorrow's game against Orlando.

With Young out of the lineup Saturday vs. the Bulls, Reddish started at point guard and played 28 minutes. He was widely unproductive and the Hawks struggled without Young. John Collins scored 34 points and should continue to see very high minutes and usage with no Trae.
UPDATE: Young has been ruled out for Saturday’s game vs. the Chicago Bulls. Young did not travel with the team.
UPDATE: Young will not return to the game. This isn’t good for the Hawks considering he wasn’t able to put weight on the leg. With Young out the rest of the game, expect Cam Reddish to step up at PG, with Kevin Huerter and John Collins being tasked with leading the offense the rest of the game.
Trae Young won’t return tonight with a right ankle sprain, per the Hawks.

If you have Young in season long, I’d say Reddish or DeAndre Bembry are your best bets if Trae is going to miss extended time.
Atlanta Hawks PG Trae Young had to be helped to the locker room during Friday’s game vs. the Milwaukee Bucks.
Trae Young had to be carried off the floor, though it appeared he was putting some weight on his right ankle as he was led into the tunnel.

Young twisted his ankle after taking an offensive foul with 1:23 left in the second quarter. He had to be helped to the locker room, not putting any weight on his right ankle. Young had 12 points and two assists prior to leaving. We’ll see if Young will be able to return to the game.
