Amazingly, the Eagles have done everything they needed to be in this position where they essentially control their playoff destiny. Coming off a pivotal win against the Cowboys, the Eagles now have to take down the Giants here in the final week with an NFC East division title in their sights. This is not the same Giants team they faced back in Week 14, as Daniel Jones will be active for this one instead of Eli Manning. Still, they beat them by a score of 23-17 with Carson Wentz throwing for 325 yards and two touchdowns. Against one of the worst secondaries in the league, the Eagles will make this game very competitive and one that should feature a ton of scoring. This is the most important game of the year for the Eagles (with last week out of the way) so expect a full out offensive barrage in this one.
The Giants have nothing going for them in this game but we should still expect some offense from this team. The Eagles secondary is nothing special either, which saw Eli Manning throw for 203 yards and two touchdowns. Jones should be able to do so much more, especially when he’s coming off a game where he threw for 352 yards and five touchdowns against the Redskins. Golden Tate, Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton are all in good individual matchups against an Eagles secondary that allows an average of 14.7 YPR. The only player to watch for is Saquon Barkley, as the Eagles have really locked down opposing running backs. On the year, they average just 67 rushing and 40 receiving per game.
