Despite losing to the Bills and Jets in consecutive weeks, the Steelers (8-7) have a decent shot at making the postseason. Pittsburgh heads to Baltimore to take on the top-seeded team in the AFC. And while this would normally be a very difficult matchup for the visitors, the home team has no incentive to win, and therefore will be resting its starters. With a win and a Titans loss (or some other more intricate scenarios), the Steelers will advance to the playoffs.

Mason Rudolph and Duck Hodges (DFS salary $4,600) have been trading off the quarterback role all season, but the position will fall to Hodges for the remainder as Rudolph was placed on IR this week. While he hasn’t had impressive stats this season, he’s helped his team to four wins in seven appearances. One of his three losses came in Week 5 in overtime to the full-strength Ravens. This matchup should be a lot less intimidating.

That being said, I’m still not confident in the Steelers offense. Nor am I confident in the defense’s ability to stop Robert Griffin III ($5,100) and the rest of the Ravens’ backups. It wouldn’t be a shock to see Pittsburgh squander this opportunity to make the playoffs, although even if they do reach, they won’t do much damage while they’re there.
