NBA DFS Picks: Top fantasy basketball value plays on DraftKings for Dec. 26

Now starting, Elfrid Payton and Marvin Bagley are poised to see an uptick in fantasy production.

Hungover from Christmas and don’t want to look for NBA value plays? Don’t worry, I have you covered. These are some of my favorite salary saving plays for Thursday’s six-game slate.

Elfrid Payton, PG, NYK at BKN ($5,300)

It looks like Payton has solidified his spot as the Knicks’ starting point guard. The team has been struggling to get something going all season and Payton has provided a spark in the last couple of games. Since entering the starting lineup, he’s averaging 34.75 DKFP. When considering that he was priced as high as $8,000 as the Pelicans’ starting point guard last season, the price point is much too cheap on Payton.

Marvin Bagley, PF/C, SAC vs. MIN ($5,300)

Just like Payton, Bagley is another play moving into a new role. He’s been coming off the bench since returning from a finger injury and rejoined the starting lineup last game. The results weren’t great and he only scored 19.5 DKFP, but we should expect greater production going forward. As a starter for the Kings last season, Bagley averaged 20 points and 11.5 rebounds.

Gorgui Dieng, C, MIN at SAC ($5,700)

The viability of Dieng is dependent on the status Of Karl Anthony-Towns. KAT is questionable to play, but he’s been listed as questionable for the last four games and sat out all of them. The Timberwolves have lost 11 games in a row and don’t seem to be in a hurry to bring their All-Star center back from a knee injury. In the games he’s missed, Dieng has provided great fantasy value. Dieng has made six starts, averaging 31.75 DKFP in those games.

Tim Frazier, PG, DET vs. WAS ($3,500)

Fool me once shame on you, fool me five times and I probably shouldn’t be targeting Tim Frazier anymore. He’s been pushed into a prominent role for the Pistons a few times this year and generally hasn’t been great, but this will be different I tell myself. With Bruce Brown out last game, Frazier moved into the starting lineup. Detroit got blown out and he didn’t get a full allotment of minutes, but if starting again, Frazier is cheap and draws an elite matchup against the Wizards. Washington allows the third most DKFP to point guards.
