The last week of the regular season is here, and that means you should take advantage of Sunday’s massive 15-game slate and win some cash.
These defensive/special teams picks with the best and worst value in terms of price on DraftKings.
BEST: New England Patriots (4,300)
This one’s an easy choice. New England is a top seven team against both the run and pass and will face a Miami team that’s been one of the worst teams in the league this year. Sure the Dolphins looked solid against another poor defensive team in Week 16, but the Patriots are a different beast. New England’s defense and special teams tallied a season high 37 DKFP the last time it was matched up with Miami. While that probably won’t be the case a second time, the Patriots are certainly set up for success.
WORST: Philadelphia Eagles ($3,500)
The Eagles limited the Cowboys to nine points in their last outing but will be up against a piping hot Giants team in New York next. Daniel Jones is healthy, unlike Dak Prescott, and is coming off a five-touchdown performance in which he found the end zone with four different receivers. And then there’ Saquon Barkley, who rushed for 189 yards and a score in Week 16. Although Philadelphia is on the brink of a postseason appearance while New York has struggled, this matchup might end up being closer than you think in the end.

Best: New Orleans Saints ($4,000)
New Orleans may have given up 28 points to Tennessee last week, but it shouldn’t get much bite from Carolina in Week 17. The Panthers’ interim coach has already confirmed that Will Grier will make his second career start on Sunday after he threw for 224 yards and three interceptions in Week 16 as Carolina fell to Indianapolis 38-6. Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore will likely clamp whoever the Panthers’ designated WR1 is, so Grier may have even less to work with this time around while facing a defense that ranks fourth in sacks (49) and is sturdier Colts’ unit.
WORST: Denver Broncos ($3,300)
The Broncos defense and special teams have tallied five or fewer DKFP nine times this season and didn’t do well last time they faced Oakland. Denver had a goose egg in the DKFP column against the Raiders in Week 1. The Raiders also have a chance to punch a ticket to the postseason if even everything rolls the right way for them in Week 17, so they’ll be inspired to get the job done.
