Opening point spreads for Week 17 NFL action

The NFL is wrapping up a wild Week 16 Sunday with a potentially fun inter-conference matchup on Sunday Night Football matchup between the 10-4 Chiefs and 7-7 Bears in Pittsburgh. The Chiefs can stay in the race for a first round bye with a win. The week wraps up with the Vikings hosting the Packers on Monday Night Football, in a matchup with NFC North implications.

In the meantime, opening lines are arriving for Week 17. We have no early or Monday football in the final week of the regular season. The 49ers and Seahawks have been flexed into Sunday Night Football, with a first round bye on the line. We get a full Sunday, with what should be a relatively balanced schedule of football.

A lot of lines still have to arrive, but we’re already seeing movement. The 49ers opened as 1.5-point favorites at Seattle, but that line has already climbed to 2.5, with some shops offering three. This comes after word that running backs Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise and offensive tackle Duane Brown will all miss Sunday’s game. The 49ers have not been a road favorite against Seattle since 2011, before the Seahawks drafted Russell Wilson.
