UPDATE #2: Washington has downgraded Haskins to doubtful to return in Week 16.
UPDATE: Haskins walked back to the sideline with a trainer, per beat writer JP Finlay. He was walking slowly and Finlay does not expect him to return.
Washington quarterback Dwayne Haskins suffered an ankle injury in Week 16 and his status is questionable for the rest of the team’s game against the New York Giants. One Giants defender hit Haskins low and one hit him high and he appeared to twist his leg in an awkward manner. The medical staff helped him off the field and he took a cart to the locker room.
Haskins was 12 of 15 for 133 yards and two touchdowns at the time of the injury. Case Keenum has replaced Haskins while the team evaluates his ankle. Washington trails 28-14 in the third quarter.
