Mason Rudolph replaces Hodges, then suffers injury, Hodges returns

UPDATE: Mason Rudolph has an undisclosed injury and Devlin Hodges has gone back in for him.

Mason Rudolph gets the call to take over as Devlin Hodges threw two interceptions in a game the Steelers desperately need for their playoff chances. Hodges’ second interceptions was a duck in the end zone as he missed an open JuJu-Smith Schuster. And Hodges is also coming off a four-interceptions game last week.

Despite Rudolph’s trouble completing passes to his own teammates, there’s no doubt that Hodges isn’t the answer. Can Rudolph save the Steelers season? If only they were playing in a blizzard and Rudolph had a shiny red nose.
