Saquon Barkley hits 279 total yards, 2 TDs in Week 16

Giants running back Saquon Barkley puts up big numbers in Week 16. We break down the fantasy football performance.

Final update: Barkley finished with his best game of the season and at the best possible time for those rostering him in the fantasy championships. He ended up rushing 22 times for 189 yards and a touchdown and catching all four of his targets for 90 yards and another touchdown. His 279 total yards is the most by a running back this season.

Third quarter update: Barkley keeps rolling with 132 rushing yards and 82 receiving yards. It represents a season-high 214 total yards with the two touchdowns.

Halftime update: Barkley is rolling in what is turning into a shootout between New York and Washington. He caught a 33-yard touchdown and now has 159 total yards and two touchdowns as the Giants lead 28-14 at halftime.

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley has had a rough second NFL season, but he’s on track to finish strong. In the first quarter against Washington, Barkley broke off a 67-yard touchdown run to give New York a 14-7 lead. He has 108 rushing yards to go along with the touchdown in the first quarter.
