If you are starting Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon in your Week 16 fantasy football championship game or in DFS lineups, he might be limited today. He has been dealing with a stomach bug and Bengals team reporter Marisa Contipelli tweeted to, “[k]eep an eye on his workload – not yet known how much he will play today against the Dolphins.

The Bengals are playing for the No. 1 pick and nothing else, so a limited workload would not be entirely shocking. It makes for a tough decision for fantasy football owners at this late juncture. It’s hard to sit Mixon based off this report, but if you think you have another good option, it might be worth considering. If you want to check out your waiver wire, you can find some quality options available in a majority of leagues.

It’s a tough call, so go with your gut. Mixon has been playing well lately, so if he does get his usual workload, fantasy players would be kicking themselves if they left him on their bench.
