UPDATE: We run down the best options to consider in place of Henry.

The Tennessee Titans are expected to be missing a huge weapon in Week 16 against the New Orleans Saints. Running back Derrick Henry is not going to play due to a hamstring injury, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Henry got in a full practice on Friday and was not on the final injury report. He was downgraded to questionable. Dion Lewis would start in his place, with rookie Khari Blasingame and recently promoted Dalyn Dawkins potentially getting some work behind him.

Fantasy football analysis: Titans RB Derrick Henry, Dion Lewis

This is certainly a huge development for fantasy football championship games. Henry has been one of the best running backs in the NFL the past month and likely pushed several teams into the playoffs and their respective championships.

If you have Lewis to handcuff him you’re in good shape. If you don’t, you’re left scrambling at the running back position. Some options available in more than 50 percent of ESPN leagues include Lewis, Raiders running back DeAndre Washington, Dolphins running back Patrick, Vikings running backs Alexander Mattison and Mike Boone, and Eagles running back Boston Scott. All are worth a look if you need a running back to replace Henry.
