Choosing between the Indianapolis Colts’ T.Y. Hilton and Zach Pascal could prove to be difficult this week. The team has been eliminated from playoff contention, but both wideouts could be focal points in the offense during the final two weeks of the season.
Hilton’s snaps were limited throughout the Colts’ 34-7 blowout loss to the Saints in Week 15 because of a knee injury, but coach Frank Reich said the WR1 was feeling “well” following the contest. He played 29 snaps and notched four receptions on a team-high nine targets. But that only led to 25 receiving yards. Pascal on the other hand received X targets and had led Indianapolis with 44 receiving yards.
Fantasy football analysis: Colts WRs T.Y. Hilton, Zach Pascal
Reich indicated that he expects Hilton to be a factor in the closing weeks on Wednesday, but the team is being cautious. Hilton didn’t practice at all on Tuesday. Pascal played in 12 straight games and is having a breakout season while Hilton has career lows across the board and a history of tweaking preexisting injuries. Pascal will almost certainly be at 100 percent in Week 16, but we can’t say the same about Hilton.
Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Pascal here. Hilton is too much of a wild card.
