Opening NBA point spreads for December 22th schedule

We take a look at the initial spreads on DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday’s five-game NBA card.

We’ll have five games on Draftkings NBA slate for Sunday, and two teams dealing with injuries to stars will clash in the first game of the day, as the Mavericks will travel to across the border to take on the Raptors. The Mavericks have toppled the Bucks, Celtics, and 76ers without the talents of PG/SF Luka Doncic and have rallied behind Kristaps Porzingis. The Raptors are riding a four-game winning streak of their own and will be without Fred VanVleet, Norman Powell, Pascal Siakam, and Marc Gasol on Sunday. One team’s run will have to end, but both have been impressive.

Another storyline to follow is Paul George and the Clippers taking on the Thunder in Oklahoma City just one day after Kawhi Leonard faced off against the Spurs. Los Angeles claimed a narrow victory in the last meeting between the two teams.

The last game of the day will be between the Nuggets and Lakers in Los Angeles. The Lakers lost a highly-anticipated matchup with the Bucks earlier this week and will look to rebound against a Denver team that is on a five-game winning streak.

Here are the initial lines for tonight’s five-game slate on DraftKings Sportsbook:

Mavericks @ Raptors (-2.5, 217.5) 3:30 p.m. ET
Hornets @ Celtics (-13, 209.5) 6:00 p.m. ET
Clippers @ Thunder (+2, 222.5) 7:00 p.m. ET
Pacers @ Bucks (-8, 219.5) 7:00 p.m. ET
Nuggets @ Lakers (-5.5, 208) 9:30 p.m. ET

Note: Bets and DFS players will lock at those specific game times.
