How to handle Noah Fant injury in Week 16 fantasy football

You shouldn’t worry about Noah Fant’s injury designation for Week 16. We think he’ll be good to go.

UPDATE: Noah Fant is ACTIVE.

Denver Broncos tight end Noah Fant is listed as questionable for his team’s Sunday matchup against Detroit Lions. Fant might be out for Sunday’s contest because of a shoulder injury. He also received an illness note next to his name on Denver’s latest injury report alongside five other players. The rookie has been limited at practice since Wednesday.

Fant’s shoulder injury occurred during the Broncos’ Week 15 loss to the Kansas City, but his x-rays came back negative. He has appeared in 14 games this season.

Fantasy football analysis, Denver Broncos TE, Noah Fant

Fant has recorded multiple catches in 11 of the 14 games he’s played in this year and will face one of the NFL’s worst passing defenses. He’s been able to post top-10 level fantasy tight end numbers throughout his rookie campaign while dealing with multiple injuries and catching passes from three different quarterbacks. I don’t think there’s cause for concern here.

Fant has been tough all year long and is nearing the home stretch, so you should still start him against Detroit’s struggling secondary.
