SNF fantasy points projections to help you set your lineup

Need some last minute start/sit advice? Fantasy points projections can help, and we’ve got them for Week 16 Sunday Night Football.

The Bears are out of the playoff hunt while the Chiefs still have a shot at the second seed and a playoff bye if they can win out and the Patriots lose to the Bills or Dolphins. That’s enough to motivate Kansas City but the Bears might not have the same fire in their bellies. Of course, getting smacked hard in the belly often starts that fire right up.

Matchups are crucial, but it helps to see what the analytics are saying about potential performances. Looking at ESPN fantasy projections, there are plenty of start/sit decisions to consider for both teams. The Chiefs running backs situation continues to be a big headache, as Damien Williams isn’t on the injury report and will play. It’s looking again like we should stay away from their running backs.

ESPN has the trio of Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce as the fantasy stars of this game, which makes the most sense. The Chiefs run defense is a good matchup but the Bears have a committee at running back that hasn’t shown much upside. Tarik Cohen is actually projected to see the most points in this game, as the Chiefs allow a plethora of receptions and yards to pass-catching backs and they will likely lead.
