UPDATE: Derrick Henry is not expected to play in Week 16. Dion Lewis ($4,300) becomes a notable option that a lot of entries are likely to include.
There are some high-priced plays this week I want to get to, so I’ll need to find value somewhere on the main slate. Wide receiver. tight end and D/ST is where I pay down the most often, but you take whatever good value you can find, so let’s look for some.
DeAndre Washington, Raiders ($4,000)
Washington will be chalk this week and I think you just have to go with it for the most part. At 4k, he is a screaming value. When he last started for Josh Jacobs two weeks ago, there was some worry that Jalen Richard would cut too much into his workload, but our fears were calmed, as the game set up well for Richard to see receiving work, but instead, Washington was the every down back. He rushed 14 times and caught 6-of-7 targets for a total of 96 yards and a touchdown against the Titans. Now he faces a Chargers team that is worse against running backs.
Phillip Lindsay, Broncos ($5,300)
Lindsay continues to see elevated usage, as he’s averaged 16 touches a game to Royce Freeman’s eight touches a game since their bye. We’re still waiting on those touches to develop into good fantasy points but this week looks like he has a good chance to turn things around against the Lions. Detroit allows the fifth-most fantasy points to running backs on the season
Adrian Peterson, Washington ($5,000)
Peterson has now scored a touchdown in three straight games and has 20 and 19 touches since Derrius Guice left to injury. Last week he even caught 3-of-3 targets for 25 yards. His lack of receptions on average is tough on DK but his workload is great with a lot of touchdown upside at home against a weak Giants team.
