Toronto Raptors PF/C Pascal Siakam has joined Norman Powell (shoulder) and Marc Gasol (hamstring) on the sidelined, with all three being ruled out indefinitely Thursday night.
Per Raptors: Gasol (hamstring); Powell (shoulder subluxation) and — surprise! - Siakam (groin) — are all out indefinitely after evaluation today. Ouch.

We already knew Powell and Gasol were going to miss some time, but Siakam came out of left field Thursday night. He didn’t have any issues after Wednesday night’s win over the Detroit Pistons, scoring 26 points in 35 minutes. Now, the Raps will be without three starters — Powell had been filling in for Fred VanVleet (knee), who could return Friday.
Fantasy Basketball Analysis
This is a very tough spot for Toronto. Right now the main benefactors are ... well, pretty much everyone on the roster, right? Kyle Lowry will need to pick up the slack on offense for Siakam. OG Anunoby will also see more usage and minutes, plus FVV will have to come back and get things going right away. Serge Ibaka is the best frontcourt option the Raptors will have with all three players out.
OG is 34.1 percent owned in ESPN standard fantasy basketball leagues, so he’s your best bet to be available off the wire. Ibaka is 69.4 percent owned, so may only be available in shallow leagues. If you have Pascal in those types of 8-10 team leagues, scoop up Ibaka immediately. There’s really no replacing a player like Siakam, but that’s your only option really. Terence Davis, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Chris Boucher are all low owned in season-long and worth a flier in deeper formats.
