Top 50 running back standard rankings for Week 16 fantasy football

We take you through some of the best running backs going in Week 16 for fantasy football, including a few viable streamers.

The fantasy championships are here! Hopefully Chris Carson, Christian McCarthy, Saquon Barkley, Nick Chubb, Mark Ingram and Miles Sanders helped you and you managed to avoid the Dalvin Cook injury and Derrick Henry’s and Melvin Gordon’s down games.

We’ve got one more crack at setting those lineups, let’s make it a good one. Below we have your Week 16 running back standard rankings to help you set those championship lineups. Good luck!

Injury/Status Report

Dalvin Cook’s injury doesn’t appear to be serious and he has an extra day to heal due to their MNF matchup with the Packers. We’ll see if Mike Boone or Alexander Mattison get a chance this week.

RB Ranking Tiers

Tier 1

Saquon Barkley showed life last week and gets a good matchup with Washington this week. He should be able to end the fantasy season on a high note.

Joe Mixon is one of my favorite plays this week, as he has been on fire of late and he should be set up for more touchdown opportunities against the Dolphins.

Tier 2

Derrick Henry gets a tough matchup but the Titans still have a chance to sneak into the playoffs, so he will get usage but this game does not set up well for him.

Marlon Mack will be at home with his team favored by a touchdown against the Panthers awful run defense. He is set up perfectly for a strong game.

RB Streamers

Adrian Peterson just keeps on keeping on and he should get plenty of work against the Giants. He’s still a standard league play even at 57 years of age.
