We break down the best quarterbacks to consider off the waiver wire in a spot start for your Week 16 fantasy football championships.

Many fantasy owners are heading into the championship round of their seasonal leagues in Week 16, and there are some quarterbacks widely available that have some streaming appeal, especially in two QB leagues.

Philip Rivers, Los Angeles Chargers (43 percent owned)

Rivers has an excellent matchup in Week 16 against the Raiders, who have allowed the second highest passer rating and have allowed opposing QBs to score the fourth most DraftKings fantasy points per game. Oakland has been prone to allowing passing TDs, allowing the third most, and their passing yard prevention has also been in the bottom five.

Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals (5 percent owned)

Dalton unsurprisingly struggled in a brutal matchup vs. the Patriots in Week 15, throwing four picks in a poor 6.14 DraftKings fantasy point effort. Dalton draws a much softer matchup in Week 16 against the Dolphins, who have allowed the third highest passer rating and have allowed elevated fantasy points to opposing QBs. Dalton is available in almost all leagues and has a highly appealing streaming matchup.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Miami Dolphins (15 percent owned)

Fitzpatrick is coming off a soft matchup against a poor Giants defense in Week 15, and Fitzpatrick took advantage, scoring 21.46 DraftKings fantasy points after tossing two TD passes on 279 passing yards. Fitzpatrick draws another soft matchup in Week 16 against the Bengals, who have allowed more fantasy points to QBs than average and have allowed opposing QBs to post one of the 10 highest passer ratings.

Mitchell Trubisky, Chicago Bears (21 percent owned)

Trubisky posted his third consecutive solid fantasy performance in Week 15, generating 21.26 DraftKings fantasy points against the Packers. Trubisky undertook heavy passing volume, attempting 51 passes, which helped contribute to 334 passing yards. Trubisky could be forced into heavy passing volume again in Week 16 against the Chiefs, who have an explosive offense and can force opposing teams into pass mode.

Eli Manning, New York Giants (9 percent owned)

Manning has made two consecutive starts in place of Daniel Jones (ankle) and has posted respectable fantasy numbers, registering 16.02 and 16.32 DraftKings fantasy point outings, respectively. If Jones remains sidelined again in Week 16, Manning has an unimposing matchup against the Redskins, who have allowed a higher passer rating than average and rank towards the middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to QBs. If Jones (27 percent) is able to return, he is also set to have a decent matchup, and likely carries more upside than Manning.
