UPDATE: T.Y. Hilton is expected to be active, per Adam Schefter.
The Indianapolis Colts face the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football to close out Week 15, and they face a couple big questions. Cornerback Pierre Desir and wide receiver T.Y. Hilton are both listed as questionable on the final injury report.
Desir is dealing with a groin injury. He was limited at practice on Thursday and Friday, and then a full participant on Saturday. He is trending in the right direction, so should be good to go Monday evening.
Hilton is dealing with a calf injury. He was limited on Thursday and Friday, but then sat out Saturday’s practice, which has him trending in the wrong direction. Head coach Frank Reich said on Saturday that Hilton will be a game-time decision. More importantly, Reich said that Hilton would only play if he was 100 percent, and he would not have a pitch count if he did play, according to beat writer Kevin Bowen.
Fantasy football analysis: Colts WR T.Y. Hilton
This is not an ideal situation, but if you’re still thinking about it on Monday, you’re left with limited options. If you have Hilton and he plays, you start him. If you have Hilton and he does not play, you would want to have either Colts receivers Zach Pascal or Marcus Johnson, or Saints receivers Ted Ginn or Tre’Quan Smith. I’d rank them Pascal, Johnson, Ginn, Smith.
