UPDATE: T.Y. Hilton is expected to be active, per Adam Schefter. ESPN projects him to score 11.5 points in 0.5 PPR leagues.
Both teams need all the wins they can get, so we should get a strong effort out of each club. Of course, the Colts are in dire straits and need to win out to even have a chance at the playoffs but that chance is there and they’ll give it their all.
The Saints, like all teams, would rather get a week off and a better chance at playing at home, so they will have plenty to play for on Monday night as well.
Matchups are crucial, but it helps to see what the analytics are saying about potential performances. Looking at ESPN fantasy projections, there are plenty of start/sit decisions to consider for both teams.
Both of these defenses have scuffled of late, so there’s a real chance both teams can put up useful fantasy numbers. The Colts really could use T.Y. Hilton, which looks like might happen. The projections have him playing and putting in a solid game, but the combo of Drew Brees to Michael Thomas gets the most love and rightfully so.
