The 49ers offense isn’t clicking against the Falcons like it was last week in New Orleans but George Kittle is keeping them afloat, as he’s caught 7-of-9 targets at halftime. His 65 yards won’t blow anyone away but Jimmy Garoppolo has just 10 completions for 76 yards so far. That leaves only three receptions that weren’t gobbled up by Kittle.
With the game tied at 10-10 at halftime, there is still plenty of time for the offense to get going and Kittle will likely continue to rack up the receptions and yards.
UPDATE
Kittle was the engine that kept chugging, be it pancake blocks or big receptions, but in the end the Falcons prevailed. Kittle’s fantasy backers won’t be too sad though, especially in PPR, as he ended up catching 13-of-17 targets for 134 yards. A game against the Colts next week should provide more useful stats in your fantasy championships.
