Opening point spreads for Week 16 NFL action

The NFL is in the midst of closing out Week 14 Sunday with a huge Sunday Night Football matchup between the 9-4 Bills and 8-5 Steelers in Pittsburgh. The winner firms up their hold on a wild card berth The week wraps up with the Saints hosting the Colts on Monday Night Football, in a matchup with playoff implications for both teams.

In the meantime, opening lines are arriving for Week 16. We have the regularly unusual Week 16 schedule, with no Thursday Night Football, but instead three Saturday games. This also marks the final week of Monday Night Football.

Many of the lines have not yet arrived, but we’ll update as more information arrives. In the meantime, we get a really fun Saturday slate. The Texans open as a one-point favorite at the Bucs, the Patriots are 6.5-point home favorites against the Bills, and the 49ers are six-point home favorites against the Rams.

One line of note that has not opened is Packers-Vikings. Dalvin Cook injured his shoulder in Week 15 and his status is unclear for next week. Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer did not have an update on Cook’s status, so we wait for MRI results.
