FINAL UPDATE: Bruce Arians told the media the injury doesn’t look good, and compared it to Mike Evans. This would suggest Chris Godwin will end up on injured reserve this week.
UPDATE #2: Chris Godwin has been ruled OUT for the rest of the game.
UPDATE: The team has taken Chris Godwin to the locker room on a cart to get examined.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin suffered an injury midway through the third quarter against the Detroit Lions in Week 15. He was running a route on a pass intended for Breshad Perriman and came up walking gingerly. The trainers came out to talk to him and he walked off under his own power.
Godwin had 121 yards on five receptions in the first game without Mike Evans starting opposite him. Scotty Miller and Breshad Perriman have both gotten extensive work in the game, although Miller left in the first half with a hamstring injury. He finished with three receptions for 49 yards and one touchdown. Perriman has four receptions for 88 yards and two touchdowns.
