UPDATE: Mixon finished the game with 136 yards on 25 carries and three receptions for 20 yards for a total of 18.6 fantasy points.

Heading into the fourth quarter of play against the New England Patriots, the Cincinatti Bengals may be losing, but Joe Mixon owners are winning. Mixon has carried the ball 24 times for 131 yards and tacked on 3 receptions for 20 yards for a total of 16.2 fantasy points. Despite not finding the end zone, Mixon is having a great day against a tough defensive match-up.

Mixon averages 13.7 fantasy points on the season, but has come on strong in recent weeks averaging 17.4 points over his past 6 games and capping off that streak with a 27.6 point performance in Cleveland in Week 14. Mixon has been fed early and often since the start of this game and he has produced admirably, averaging 5.5 yards per carry with a long run of 29 yards.

Mixon will likely continue with his heavy workload and build on his fantasy point total through the fourth quarter. The Bengals offense as a whole may be struggling, but Joe Mixon seems to be finding his stride as the 2019 season nears the end. Mixon will look to continue his hot streak next week when he faces a susceptible Miami Dolphins run defense.
