David Njoku INACTIVE in Week 15 vs. Cardinals

Browns TE is a surprise inactive and was a trendy sleeper vs. Arizona. Who will step up with him out?

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku is a surprise inactive for Week 15 vs. the Arizona Cardinals.

Njoku returned to action last week, but didn’t play much and only received one target. He had been limited during practice this week a bit by a knee injury, but wasn’t on the final injury report heading into the weekend. So this is a surprise inactive that may set some lineups back given the matchup vs. the Cardinals.

Fantasy Football Analysis: Cleveland Browns tight ends

This is the best matchup for tight ends in the NFL against Arizona, which has been torched by the position all season. Many (myself included) pegged Njoku as a sleeper for this week with the potential for a big game. Well, if you’re like me, you’re pretty much scrambling to find a tight end. If you didn’t have anyone on your bench and your waiver wire is thin, roll out Ricky Seals-Jones. It’s a great matchup, Seals-Jones should see at least half the snaps (if not more) at tight end with Stephen Carlson, who is also in consideration. I’m leaning RSJ with the revenge narrative in play and I think he could catch at least a TD. Carlson would be the sneakier play and did play 70% of the snaps last week. Either way, things aren’t looking good for you at TE, so might as well swing for the fences.
