The NFL is back for Week 15, and we get a nice split of games on the Sunday slate for the first time in a while. The Ravens opened the week with a 42-21 win over the Jets that locked up the AFC North and further solidifies their chances at home field in the playoffs.
We’re back with solid Sunday of football that is as balanced as we’ve seen this year. We get right games in the 1:00 p.m. slot including Bears-Packers and Texans-Titans. We then get five games in the 4:05/4:25 p.m. slot with Rams-Cowboys the most important of the group. The day wraps up with an important AFC matchup on Sunday Night Football between the Bills and Steelers.
There are plenty of notable names on the injury reports and lineups will be dependent on 11:30 a.m. inactives, and plenty beyond. The biggest concern once again is Raiders running back Josh Jacobs. He is dealing with a fractured shoulder plate that cost him last week. He is expected to play this week, but we’ll see if anything changes.
If you’re trying to figure out your fantasy football lineups, this information is critical to getting the right players in the right spots. If you’ve got key players in the Sunday Night Football or Monday Night Football slots, you’re looking for any grain of information that will help you make the decision early rather than waiting until it’s too late tonight or tomorrow night.
We’re all figuring out last minute roster decisions, and that means not only who is not playing this week, but who is playing but might not be the best start in your Week 15 fantasy football lineup. We’ll provide updates on injuries, key start/sit decisions, and more leading up to kickoffs.

Josh Jacobs expected to play
The Raiders star rookie is playing with a fractured shoulder plate, but is expected to play, according to Ian Rapoport. He got in three limited practices this week, which is an upgrade over his two DNPs last week. He’s not 100 percent, but is still worth starting in all fantasy formats.
Damien Williams expected to be inactive
The Chiefs running back is expected to be inactive, according to Ian Rapoport. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but then was downgraded to DNP on Friday. LeSean McCoy and Darwin Thompson would split snaps in his absence, with Spencer Ware likely to get some work as well. McCoy gets the slight edge for fantasy purposes.
James Conner expected to play Sunday night
The Steelers running back was a full participant all three days this week, and in spite of the questionable tag, is expected to play on Sunday Night Football, according to Adam Schefter. However, Ian Rapoport tweeted that while Conner will be the starter, he is expected to split carries with Jaylen Samuels and Benny Snell.
Derrick Henry expected to play
Henry missed practice all week, but he is expected to play on Sunday, according to Adam Schefter. Henry said he would be good to go on Sunday, so at this point in the season it would just appear to be a load management issue during the practice week.
Will Fuller expected to play
The Texans receiver is expected to be good to go barring any pre-game setbacks, according to Adam Schefter. If he goes, he downgrades Kenny Stills a little bit. Fuller is worth a start against a middle of the road Titans pass defense.
Julian Edelman optimistic about playing today
The Patriots wide receiver is dealing with knee and shoulder issues, but is optimistic about playing, according to Ian Rapoport. He will go through his pre-game workout to confirm, but appears to be on track to play as usual.
T.Y. Hilton remains a game day decision
The Colts announced on Saturday that their start receiver is questionable and a game-time decision for Monday Night Football. We’ll keep an eye out for information, but for the time being we are left not knowing until Monday. If he does not play, Zach Pascal and Marcus Johnson are waiver options to consider.
