What to do with Courtland Sutton in Week 15 fantasy football

Can Courtland continue to connect with Drew Lock in Kansas City?

Courtland Sutton and the Broncos blew out the Texans last week to start on their second winning streak of the season. That means that Drew Lock is still undefeated as an NFL quarterback. Denver will be looking for revenge over Kansas City in Week 15.

Fantasy Football Analysis: Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton

Throughout the year, Courtland Sutton has been Denver’s go-to option in the air, regardless of the quarterback who’s throwing to him. Now, with Drew Lock at the helm, the pair has seemingly clicked. He saw over 25% target share last week, reeling in five catches, which wasn’t nearly as good as the week prior when he posted a 4-74-2 stat line.

This week, the Broncos have the pleasure of visiting the division-leading Chiefs. In past matchups against this team, Sutton may have been in a more favorable spot. But the defense has figured out a significant deal since the last time these two teams met in Week 7, and even then, the Broncos only managed six points. Courtland did have six catches for 87 yards in that matchup, so he’s proven to be effective against their rivals.

The Chiefs are fighting for seeding in the playoff spot, so there won’t be any reason to take their foot off the pedal. And if the Broncos are playing catch-up, Sutton will have an opportunity to shine. With Noah Fant banged up after having a huge game in Week 14, there’s even more potential targets for Sutton. His 14.8 fantasy points per game in ESPN standard leagues puts him in 20th among active WRs.
