What to do with Matt Ryan in fantasy football Week 15

Will Matt Ryan turn around his late season troubles this week in San Francisco?

Matt Ryan had his best game in six games last week when he threw for 313 yards and two touchdowns against the Panthers at home. In his first six weeks of the season, Ryan had four games with three or more touchdown passes. But since then, he’s had no games over two touchdown passes and has seven total touchdowns in his last six games and has only topped 16 fantasy points once.

His offensive line and injured skill players have not helped him. Over his last three games, all at home, he’s been sacked 16 times and now he heads on the road to face Nick Bosa and the 49ers. The 49ers were crushed by Drew Brees for six total touchdowns last week in New Orleans but the 49ers defense is still good and they will be back home in a game they need to win, unlike the Falcons.

On the season, the 49ers have given up just four games over 200 yards passing and one game of more than two touchdown passes. They can be beaten through the air but it’s not a common occurance and the way the Falcons and Matt Ryan have played of late, coupled with injuries to his receivers, does not bode well for his chances this week.
