Top daily fantasy football running back plays over $6,000 in Week 15

There are a few strong running backs to pay up for this week. We take you through the best.

Week 15 gives us good matchups for some top running backs. I’m off od Christian McCaffrey this week, which means he will go off, just in case you want to win the big cash. The Jaguars and Panthers have been getting run over with great consistency and I’m glad we can target them this week.

Chris Carson, Seahawks ($7,500) at Panthers

Carson should be a popular play this week against the Panthers with Rashaad Penny out for the season. The Panthers have been awful against the run, giving up the most fantasy points to running backs on the season. They’ve allowed 5.34 yards per carry and somehow are second-worst to the Jaguars. Their 21 rushing touchdowns allowed is first by seven touchdowns! Carson is the best play going this week.

Derrick Henry, Texans ($8,500) vs. Texans

Henry is going to get more time to rest during games and practices to manage his health but hee should still see his fair share of work, especially in a game that could decide if the Titans go to the playoffs or not. The Texans also haven’t been that good against the run of late, as they’ve allowed the second-most fantasy points to running backs over the last five weeks along with a 4.9 yards per carry clip.

Leonard Fournette, Jaguars ($7,600) at Raiders

The Raiders run defense allows the ninth-most fantasy points on the season and the fourth-most over the last five weeks. Fournette’s PPR floor has been high all season while his upside has been capped due to lack of touchdowns. He could again be relegated to a high floor game with a bunch of receptions this week, but I’m willing to take that along with the upside a touchdown or two would bring.

Josh Jacobs, Raiders ($7,000) vs. Jaguars

I’m a little hesitant to go with Jacobs here, as he has a fracture in his shoulder but he received good news on his MRI and will play this week. The Jaguars have been decimated by opposing running backs this season, allowing the second-most fantasy points to the position. Over the last five weeks, they’ve given up the most fantasy points and a healthy 6.34 yards per carry.
