Trail Blazers forward had solid fantasy output in Denver, though his team didn’t fare as well.

Carmelo Anthony has had a long week of narratives, starting Tuesday night in Portland against the New York Knicks. It carried over to Thursday when the Trail Blazers faced the Denver Nuggets, the team that drafted Melo. Well, he didn’t look great against the Knicks in a win, but showed up for Portland in a loss to the Nuggets.

Anthony scored 20 points with nine rebounds and a pair fo steals for 40.75 fantasy points on DraftKings at a $5,800 price point. It was just the third time all season he eclipsed 40 DKFP, though he’s been consistent, scoring at least 24.5 DKFP in five straight games. He’s somewhat regressed since winning Western Conference Player of the Week a few weeks back, but is still trucking along on his reunion tour. Though I think it’s finally over until Jan. 1 when we kick the New Year off with Melo’s return to The Garden.
